COBALT Innovative Inspection Solution for Lifting Equipment & Drops

Just like our brand name and logo we aim to offer high quality forever software. Applications are designed and developed using the latest agile technology and methodologies. Cobalt CMMS Solution incorporates SaaS (software), PaaS (platform), IaaS (Infrastructure) the solution is mounted on a standalone server portal which is linked to the Aeternum Software Hub with maintenance and support.
Cobalt’s SaaS solution is based on the creation of a successful inspection, carried out ensuring that all aspects such as the product manufactured, inspector skill, equipment calibration and methodology applied.

There are two types of Cobalt:

  1. Cobalt Atomic: Designed as a total solution with additional plugins.
  2. Cobalt Connect: Designed to integrate into a customer’s current systems.

Self-Management Tool

All our SaaS Solutions are provided with your own Portal linked into the Aeternum Hub. This freedom allows our customer to manage a substantial amount of the SaaS application whilst still receiving a full 24/7 365 support package.

  1. Aeternum Hub, this is the heart of our business and monitored 24/7 365. All our customer get access to their account here. The facilities of the hub include Billing, Online Support, Knowledge Centre, Upgrading, Licence Changing and Portal Status.
  2. Portal Management, this provides a flexible dedicated server that includes both SaaS Infrastructure & SaaS platform designed specifically for the application.
  3. In-house Administration Tool, this provided the ability to change significant modules within the application. If the solution includes the use of Tablets as well and Desktop Computers, then the maintenance updating is monitored via the Aeternum Hub.

Cobalt Atomic SaaS Package follows a five-tear workflow grouping processes whilst installing the modulated packages. This process allows for a block set of adoptions based on dependencies, at the same time the business can add the population data and implement staff training.

We offer a set of API links, these are special url links formatted in json and parsed to provide data structures that integrates into the related modules.

LOLER Standard &

LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations [9, 10 & 11] 1998).
Thorough examinations and inspections of lifting equipment. Safe and successful lifting operations depend on the continued safety of the lifting equipment and accessories that are used. Failures in this kind of equipment can result in significant or even fatal injuries. In addition to the requirements for safe design and construction, all lifting equipment should also be checked and maintained as necessary. These checks are necessary to verify that the lifting equipment can continue to be safely used. LEEA Methodology

LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineering Association.)
LEEA is an international trade association that represents companies involved in the design, manufacture, repair, and maintenance of lifting equipment. LEEA sets standards for lifting equipment and provides training and certification programs for those involved in the industry. LEEA standards provide best practice guidance for the lifting equipment during an inspection reporting which ensure that the equipment is fit for purpose. LEEA standards and LOLER regulations both play a vital role in ensuring that lifting operations are carried out safely. DROPS Scheme

DROPS (Dropped Objects Prevention Scheme)
DROPS is essentially a Global Work Group, represented by 200 operators, contractors, service companies and industry bodies, all sharing commitment and enthusiasm for the common goal of dropped object prevention. Deliverables are distilled and identify, the key learnings and deliver is fed back into the industry in the form of awareness, best practice, recommendations, lessons, tools and techniques. The main methods of disseminating of new products are via Regional Forums, via the web or through the DROPS Campaign Workpack concepts. Cobalt incorporates the key principles of DROPS in the inspection, it provides both Annual inspections and In-House maintenance inspections from daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual.     The portal is the related platform for a given application, we provide this for each customer to ensure that there can be no issues that we can’t resolve. Our servers are supported globally in over 150 countries covering 500,000 sites, we have operated with this partner for 23 years and would recommend them fully. We can were necessary, bring to the table our partners skillset to ensure that we provide the best possible service to our customers.
    Maintenance is a key element to our services. The servers are monitored 24/7 365 with backups running on a 3-day rotations. Security is cover with a range of services which included malware and vulnerability. As we provide Cloud Servers there is no downtime in our Dedicated Serves.

    Selecting a suitable tablet that matchers the industry and app to be used is important. Given that Cobalt24 was designed for the Oil & Gas industry we work with an Android OS and a Rugged Tablet. Using a rugged tablet technology and our apps, oil and gas inspections will have the capabilities to meet safety compliance requirements. Transfering data direct to the Portal allows information instantly availabe to the business. Inspectors offsite are able to report defective components that can be repaired/preplaced and reinspected. The data passed to the portal library from the tablet is available to all parties related to the management of the inspected assets.
